Violin makers generally don't have cause to defend themselves, and every reason to fear injury to their hands.ĭoes your character exhibit his films, did he collect them? Does he own a theater, or have his own 35mm projector? he may not have these things now, but at one point in his 110+years, he would have to have access to these things. Why is he a gunslinger? Did he actually participate in the old west, or did he just go target shooting once in a while? How does your character interact with other vampires? Is he a secluded loner, or very social? Does he have any other vampires he doesn't like? Does he have a staked territory, and is it officially claimed?
Does he sell his violins through a dealer? Is he a custom shop? did he invest wisely and now lives off the stock dividends? How does your character pay for things? Vampire is set in a modern world, with cell phones, computers, and worst of all, day (or night) jobs. To get you in the right midset, I'm going to post some questions:ĭoes he have a subscription to Red Cross Monthly, does he go to clubs for victims? Does he have humans on retainer he feeds from? Does he have a ghoul bring him victims? Get classes or combat builds out of your head first, and start thinking about this character as a person - a person that has to drink the blood of another person, and possibly kill the victim by accident, at least 1 person per week, WITHOUT getting caught by mortal police or the local Vampire Sheriff. You're not building a Warrior or a Rogue or a Samurai - you're building a manipulative predator who feeds on humans.
Vampire games usually don't feature combat every session.
More often, it involves back room dealing, alliances, social interaction. Vampire is not a heavily combat focused game.
